Calendar Bears

I put together another quick gallery featuring some cool gay Japanese bear art. Why oh why can't I find this stuff in the US?

The 2005 Calendar features images from a calendar by Echigoya Shinnosuke. Sorry once again for the Geocities pop-ups. They suck.

(See also Samson & G-Men cover galleries, Samson magazine, G-Project and G-Men magazines, Japanimation Bears, Rainbow Shoppers and Gengoroh Tagame and Aki.)

I love the images in this calendar! They represent something glaring that seems to be missing from the popular "gay narrative", which is the image of two masculine men carrying on a romantic relationship. Do you know of anything else Echigoya Shinnosuke has done? Has his work appeared in G-Man magazine? I'd love to see some more of his stuff, or even just full-sized versions of these images (I might buy the calendar just for those).

Graham, I did a Google search on the name, and couldn't really find anything. The two pages with information on the calendar that I found were:

http://www.rainbow-shoppers.com/en/www/list.cgi?id=G000518500006and

http://www.biggym.co.jp/store/calendar/calendar.htmlI like his work too. If I find more, I'll be sure to post it.
